Ross University

Ross University is a leading provider of medical and veterinary education, offering doctor of medicine (M.D.) and doctor of veterinary medicine (D.V.M.) degrees. Ross University School of Medicine was founded in 1978 and is located in Dominica, an island in the West Indies. Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine was founded in 1982 and is located in St. Kitts, which is in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Ross' admissions and corporate offices are located in Edison, New Jersey. Over 6,000 students have graduated from Ross University with their M.D. and D.V.M. degrees.

Ross University School of Medicine is accredited by the Dominica School Board. The United Stated Department of Education has certified Ross University School of Medicine as an eligible institution for Title IV U.S. Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) loans. Students who qualify are eligible to receive U.S. student loans in order to attend Ross University School of Medicine. The school offers a 10 semester degree program with the first four semesters taught at the main campus on Dominica, the fifth semester taught in Miami at the Greater Health Education Training Center and the remaining semesters are spent at clinical rotations at one of over 40 affiliated teaching hospitals in the United States. Graduates are eligible to practice medicine in the United States once they pass the requisite licensing examinations.

The school offers a 10 semester degree program where the first 7 semesters are taught at the main campus on St. Kitts and the final 3 semesters are taught at an accredited veterinary school affiliated with Ross. Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine has affiliations with 23 out of the total 28 American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited schools in the United States. Graduates can be licensed in all 50 states.
