CeriFi, a Portfolio Company of Leeds Equity Partners, Completes Acquisition of Lone Star Financial Education’s Certified Financial Planning Assets
New York, USA — April 5, 2019. CeriFi, a Leeds Equity Partners portfolio company, today announced the acquisition of the Certified Financial Planner (“CFP”) exam preparation assets of Lone Star Financial Education (“Lone Star CFP”). Lone Star CFP represents the fifth acquisition for CeriFi, a leading provider of financial education, training and certification solutions to the financial services industry. As part of the transaction, Dr. Craig Lemoine, Ph.D., the Founder of Lone Star, will be joining the CeriFi and Dalton Education team as a senior faculty member. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
